Deep within their secret lair, three mad scientists and one smart-alecky robot are hatching an evil plot: TO ROCK the EARTH into OBLIVION!

Lights, chaos, action! More than just virtuosity of musicianship, unforgettable visual effects, or sex symbols of mad science, The Consortium of Genius is an industrial-strength powerhouse of three cerebral miscreants who rock their audience into submission. Song after insane song form a repetoire of all originals, completely warping the styles formerly known as (including, but not limited to) hair metal, hip-hop, dancey pop, and even (gasp, choke) a jab at country. Nothing is too sacred to be spared by the C.O.G.! Occasionally, a lucky (?) spectator is even chosen from the crowd to be lobotomized onstage. And whatever images may appear on the projection viewscreen behind them, COG only knows! The resulting evil brainchild is part musical showcase, part sketch comedy, part magic act, and all ROCK 'N' ROLL SPECTACLE that "normal" bands could only dream of doing onstage.
Featuring the sadistic vocals of Dr.Milo T. Pinkerton III, the heavily-marinated guitar of Dr. A. Rachnid, and funky-fresh bass playing of Dr. Zaemon Abdul-Siddhartha-Mohammad-Achmell-Tutmos-Abram-Ali-Hermes -Odin-Mahatma-Dahali-Martin-Luther-Hussein-Kali-Rocka-Babu-Haghighi III (more commonly referred to as "Dr. Z"), along with their trusty wisecracking percussive powerhouse Drumbot, the COG have performed all over the region for the last ten years, opened for the likes of Mojo Nixon, and have had four songs to date aired by Dr. Demento on his national radio show. What else do they have up their labcoat sleeves? I would shudder, if I were you...
In addition to their self-published CD, "Free Brains and Dead Bodies" (2000), the Consortium of Genius have released a second CD, "In C.O.G. We Trust" (2004) on the Little Blue Men label, featuring a host of guest stars including Sean Yseult of White Zombie. C.O.G.'s first DVD, "History of Future Civilization" (2003), also on Little Blue Men, is a compilation of the group's video output from 1997-2003, including concert footage, music videos, commercials, and their award winning short film 'C.O.G. vs. the Phantom.' The C.O.G. is currently working on production of their new self-titled TV show. They premiered the pilot episode on cable TV and internet in July 2006 as part of their 10th Anniversary Celebration. New episodes are being shown as they are completed.
