The Consortium of Genius is a new show coming to television and internet for 2006, bringing you the best original bands and the maddest science every week. Subversively edgy comedy combined with rocking showcases in every style imaginable.

No mere concert show this, The Consortium of Genius is a true musical mad science sitcom! Recommended for fans of Pinky and the Brain, Morgus the Magnificent, Shaun of the Dead, Mystery Science Theatre 3000, Monty Python, Weird Al Yankovic, Rocky Horror, Dexter's Lab, Little Shop of Horrors...

The Premise
The Consortium of Genius consists of three musical mad scientists and one smart-alecky robot, operating from a secret underground laboratory. Every week, their twisted leader, Dr. Milo T. The Music
The Consortium of Genius is looking for a few great bands to guest in our upcoming season, in any and all styles! Guest bands will be featured performing their original material in professionally shot 'concert' or location settings. C.O.G. TV will also showcase guest bands' own pre-existing music videos.

The Pilot

The first episode features local brass-rock troublemakers Egg Yolk Jubilee, who fight the C.O.G. using Zombies, Kung-Fu, and loud blasts from their tight horn section! For future episodes, we are actively seeking bands representing punk, hip-hop, electronic, metal, alternative, country, or any other musical forms imaginable...

The Audience

The Consortium of Genius is primed to become the most outrageous local music television production ever attempted. Our main target audience is teens and college students, but we aim to produce a show almost anyone can enjoy, whether they are aware of the local music scene or not. Additionally, our goal is to provide an outlet for more adventurous, nontraditional bands to get television exposure in a format exploding with creativity and action.

The Future
As the only local band with three songs on the nationally syndicated Doctor Demento Show, The Consortium of Genius already addresses a worldwide audience. Our video expertise has already been featured in a retrospective DVD and nearly 100 live shows. With the entire area focused on rebuilding in 2006, it's time for all musicians remaining in this great city to up the ante, and take the whole scene to a higher level. With The Consortium of Genius we are making the logical step from a theatrical stage band to a full-scale television show. If you have time to come along with us for an episode, I guarantee fun, excitement, and jaw-dropping musical adventure beyond your wildest dreams...
